ITALIAN PUPILS' COMMENTS ON THE MOBILITY TO GREECE

PUPILS' COMMENTS

GREECE November 2019

ELISA

I liked everything about my experience in Greece.  My luck was especially in the Dimitra family, who was helpful, kind, welcoming, made me feel truly at home.  I had a great time with the children, Dimitri and Ioannis, two funny and sunny boys.

I met Samuel and Irene, two very nice Spanish guys with whom I made friends. I really liked Thessaloniki, especially when we did the boat ride and got on the White Tower. I also had a great time when we went to Ioannis' dance class and then ate pizza at the restaurant.

The thing I preferred was when we went to the spa.

I am really happy with this experience, I miss everything and everyone.  It really filled my heart.

MATTEO

What about...this experience in Greece was a wonderful opportunity that will always be in my heart.

First of all, I want to thank Dimitra, a fantastic person with a sweet heart, I will never forget her kindness and her generosity but above all for the way she welcomed both me and Elisa. During this experience we never felt homesick. Then I want to thank Nikos and Antonis, very kind and very nice people, for planning this unforgettable experience.

I thank Samuel, Irene, Patrizia and Augusta and all my greek friends, they have always been close to me and they didn't make me feel excluded even if I came from another country.

I thank Soultana, Kaiti and all the other people that I forgot, because they also are fantastic people that I will never forget.

My thanks also go to the Istituto Comprensivo Mazzini that gave me this opportunity and also to all the teachers who accompanied me on this journey.

I'm proud of myself, because this was my first journey alone, but if I'm at home happy with what I've been through, I owe it to you because you let me spend an unforgettable week!

I miss Dimitra, I miss Greece….

ITALIAN PUPILS' COMMENTS ON THE MOBILITY TO SPAIN

SIBILLA

Hello! Let's talk about the amazing travel to Spain. Let's start saying that it was the best experience of my life. At the beginning I didn't feel completely sure to leave my country ang go to another one without my parents, but now I know that if I didn't go it would have been a big mistake. I decided to go to Spain because it seemed like a great opportunity to learn the culture of another country and to improve my English.

The place was really beautiful, and I love big cities like Madrid but it was really loud so we were lucky to stay in a smaller town, not far from Madrid, called Móstoles. The school was amazing, it was the biggest I had ever seen, but the thing I liked the most was the people. My host family was kind and funny and my classmates were awesome! I felt like a celebrity with them, they were always around me asking how life was in Italy, I loved them!

The food was great and we also did a lot of activities, I had so much fun!

I think that there was nothing that I didn't like, the only thing that I hated was leaving all the friends and the family, they are a piece of my heart now.

ELIANA

I chose to take part in this project because I like travelling and I think it is a nice idea to know other languages, traditions and cultures.

I liked the school because there was a big place outside to play together. I also liked it because the students were very friendly. I loved the activities and the weather because it was sunny. I had a very good time with the host family! They were friendly and kind to me. I tasted many dishes of the local cuisine and they were all very good: soups, meat, pulses and sweets. I didn't like lunch and dinner times because they were too late for me.

I loved very much this experience and I hope to return soon to Spain.

PIETRO

I did this project because I like learning about cultures of other countries. The Erasmus + project helps students of different nationalities to be connected and gain experience abroad.

Spain is beautiful and people helped us when we were in difficult situatiins. I liked Spain because there are a lot of monuments.

When I was there I got up at8:00 o' clock because school started at 9:00 a.m. and finished at 4:00 p.m. And I used to eat in the canteen. At school we did a lot of fun activities. In the evening we stayed with "our" family. The house was big and beautiful. I didn't like the food because I don't like some food.

AYMAN.

I really enjoyed this school trip to Spain. I liked everything, from the friends to the places. The test I made at school was totally worth it. At first I thought England was better but I was wrong and I am glad I was. I didn't like the tortillas. I hate those 2 - 3 times and it was a bit too much for me but everything else was really good: the culture, the places, the school and, of course, the people!!

ALESSANDRA.

The last week in May I was a guest in a family in Spain. I chose to take part in this project because I like languages and love travelling. I was a guest in a wonderful family and the school was beautiful with a huge courtyard where to play. I had a lot of fun because every day we did different activities. On Monday there was a celebration for all the children who took part in the Erasmus programme. In the afternoon we visited Móstoles. On Tuesday morning we visited Madrid (wonderful) and in the afternoon we visited the Europa park which is a big park with all the most famous monuments in Europe but in a smaller size. On Wednesday morning we did workshops at school: we made bookmarks and pom poms. On Thursday morning we did workshops in english and in the afternoon we went to a huge shopping mall, we visited an aquarium and we did a lot of shopping. On Friday morning we played in the playground with the students from all the other classes, we had a really great time. In the afternoon we had a picnic with all the students from the other partner countries. On Saturday morning we left for the airport. It was really sad to leave Spain and the family, and I cried almost all day!

It was an unforgettable experience that I wish everyone to make, at least once in their life.

SP: Spanish students comments from mobility to Greece

IRENE:

“I think that Greece is very beautiful. I liked the family that hosted me very much, they didn’t speak English but we understood each other without any problem.

I also liked the excursions we did during the week in Greece, I will never forget it. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!”

SAMUEL:

“My experience in Greece was amazing for several things. The first thing is for new friends. The second thing is for the amazing places I have visited, such as Edessa Waterfalls. The third things is because of the delicious Greek food. I loved dishes like Mousaka and Gyros. The fourth thing is related to the great moments: jokes, falls, laughs, anecdotes, activities and the list goes on.

I loved when we went to the hot springs the last day. It was something unique, that you could not see anywhere. And what about the landscapes, the mountains or the city of Thessaloniki with the White Tower. Also, the help of the teachers of the school and the hosting families, they were very kind and nice with us. It has been a wonderful experience and I really hope to return one day in not many years”

When I arrived at Vilnius with my teachers and my friend we arrived to the airport. Then we had flight to Istanbul. Istanbul airport was pretty and big. It had a lot of shops. We very liked the airport. But what to say about the plane we flew on. It was awesome! TV, comfortable seats and pretty view outside the window!  After long flights we were finally in Greece. Taxi took us to the hotel there we lived all week.  Other days we went to the school, trips and museums. I really liked their friendly school and classes. The favoUrite trip to the waterfall. It was giant and big. Also we were at the museums. There were really interesting and fun. The things in museums were pretty. Also we went to the mountains. There were pretty! We arrived to Thessaloniki and wow it was such a pretty city! Also we went to the archeological places. I found an old vase combed, but I didn’t take it because I wanted to archeologists to find it and put it in the museum.
I really liked the trip to Greece! Thank my friends from Greece, also thanks  to students and teachers from Italy, Spain.

Now I wait these friends comming to Lithuania.

Žygimantas:
The Erasmus programme is fantastic. I waited going to Mostoles and meeting the family. There were lots of other students from Spain, other partner countries, some of them become lifelong friends. It will have an incredible effect on my future career. Going abroad helped me develop ideas in different ways and perhaps I, and other Erasmus students, had a fuller education because of it. Thank you my dear friends.

Patricija:
It was a great opportunity and one that all students should get to experience. I believe time spent in Mostoles open my eyes to Europe. I discovered a taste for living abroad. I spent one  unforgettable week at your school. I made many, many friends from this week. It gave me a lot of good memories. I also learned much about other cultures which was really nice.
Thank you dear friends in Mostoles you are incredible.

Damyras:
I very liked that the school was very big and beautiful.  There were a lot of  children in the school, even children with disabilities.  I enjoyed  PE lesson  in which we played  games,  football. Again, I would like to return to this school. Thank you very much

Izabelė:
Erasmus is one of those adventures which can’t be forgotten – I don’t feel the same when I come back. Something in me changes during the exchange, and it feels like the person who returns isn't the same person who left on the journey in the first place. It does not just feel that way; it is true. I come back different, I grow during the exchange. I become more independent and I grow personally. Thank you dear friends in Mostoles. Thank you teachers, students and families.

Dineta
In Spain I made a lot of new friends. Everyone was really nice. I really liked going to school. It wasn’t like in  our school. I liked a lot staying with Noel and his family. I liked food very much. It was delicious for me. Noel’s family took us to interesting places that I really liked. Thank you very much. Students, teachers and families were great.

Ula:
I really liked Spain. Spain is very beautiful country. First we travelled by plane from Palanga to Ryga and then from Riga to Madrid. After that we came by cars to Mostoles. Then we meet our lovely families. Next day we have visited school. I like your school. Everything was beautiful. But also one day I was very  sad, because I need to go home back to Lithuania. Now I miss Spain very much.

"My trip to Móstoles in Spain was an unforgettable experience. I was a little bit scared at first because I didn't know how to speak Spanish to a hosting family. When I arrived there, everything went well. The school was amazing, both the teachers and students too!. We spent a wonderful time there. We visited madrid, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Prado museum, Reina Sofía museum, Bernabeu stadium, the Atlantis aquarium and we had a picnic in "El Soto" park with all the hosting families.
From this trip, I learned many things about the Spanish culture, the friendly people there, but the most important thing is that  Mayra, Alberto, Fran and Alejandra will be forever in my heart. My Spanish family! I hope someday to come back in Madrid and visit them again!
P.S You are all invited to visit my village melissi, Greece." (Ioannis Alexiou)
